NHS dentistry is organised into three treatment bands.
Each band covers all treatments within the bands below it.

Band 1

Examination, x-rays, scale and polish if clinically needed, and any preventative care including fluoride polish application.

Band 2
£73.50

Everything in Band 1, plus fillings, root treatments (at dentist's discretion), and any necessary tooth removals. Silver fillings unless on front teeth.

Band 3
£319.10

Everything in Bands 1 & 2, plus silver crowns (not front teeth), acrylic dentures, bridges, retainers, night guards, and gum shields.
